02 Directions

Four directions, and you can always go back.

Priya, 2801

Swims outdoors all year and will not stop mentioning it.

Tomás, 3402

Fixes other people's bicycles on Sunday mornings.

Rafi, 3103

Cooks far too much, then walks the rest round to a neighbour.

Ida, 2604

Knows every night bus route in the city by heart.

Wren, 2705

Learning the cello slowly, and loudly.

Response Drag the card, or press an arrow key.

A demonstration, not the app itself. Four directions, four different answers.

03 Ready

Ready before the first swipe.

The Double Dot profile screen. A profile quality score of 63 percent sits above a breakdown of photos, bio, interests and activity, with the tip "Add 3 more photos for +15 points".
01

Photos first.

A profile picture and three to six more. Your profile then carries a quality score, with specific tips: another photo, a longer bio.

A Double Dot discovery card. A full-height photograph carries the name and age, one line of bio, and a row of interest tags: Coffee, Hiking, Vinyl, Baking.
02

A profile that sounds like you.

Most of it you build by choosing — three rounds of profiles you’re drawn to, your interests, what you’re looking for. One short bio in your own words does the rest.

The same discovery card with all four directions labelled on it: Message upwards, Photos downwards, Next to the left, Back to the right, and a "Got it" button in the middle.
03

Learn it on the first card.

All four directions are marked on it, so you pick them up in the moment rather than reading about them. The ? brings them back any time.

04 Talking

A match is a start. The conversation is the line.

Chat on Double Dot runs in real time: typing indicators, reactions, and photo messages. A good first message finally has somewhere to go.

Rafi

So. The bread. Did it work out in the end?

You

Third attempt. You could eat it and everything.

Rafi

Big claim. I would like to see Thursday's.

05 Yours

Your profile is yours.

Hide it anytime, block anyone, delete everything. No public browsing, and no surprises about who sees what.
